استكمالاً للمرحلة الجديدة من العروض الجماهرية لفيلم بين_بحرين التي أطلقها المجلس القومي للمرأة بالشراكة مع هيئة_الأمم_المتحدة_للمرأة، تم تنظيم عرضين بمحافظة دمياط يومي 11 و12 ديسمبر في مكتبة دمياط العامة ومركز زيتونة بمدينة عزبة البرج.
وكان قد حضر العروض حوالي ١00 شخص (سيدات ورجال) من مختلف الأعمار حيث شاهدوا الفيلم وشاركوا في المناقشة التي أدارتها مقررة فرع المجلس بدمياط. خلال المناقشة، شارك الجمهور بآرائهم وأسئلتهم حول القضايا التي يناقشها الفيلم مثل العنف ضد المرأة وختان الإناث. وأعرب الجمهور أيضا عن إعجابه الشديد بالفيلم ورسائله.
فيلم “بين بحرين” هو أول فيلم روائي طويل نتاج التعاون المشترك بين المجلس ، القومي_للمرأة و هيئة_الأمم_المتحدة_للمرأة وذلك إيماناً منهم بدور السينما الهام في تغيير الثقافة السلبية تجاه المرأة في المجتمعات المختلفة.
تم إنتاج هذا الفيلم بدعم من حكومة اليابان والوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية. الفيلم من تأليف الكاتبة مريم نعوم وإخراج أنس طلبة وإنتاج شركة أكسيرو يتم تنفيذ هذه المرحلة من العروض بدعم من وكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية.

As part of the new phase of the public screenings of #BetweenTwoSeas that was launched by the National Council for Women (NCW) in partnership with #UNWEgypt, two public screenings were held at Damietta governorate on 11 & 12 December in Egypt Public Library and Zaitona center in Izbat Al Burj. The screenings were attended by around 100 women and men from the governorate who watched the movie and participated in the discussion afterwards.
During the discussion, which was moderated by NCW Rapporteur, the audience shared their views and questions about the topics featured in the movie such as violence against women and female genital mutilation. The audience was also impressed by the movie and its message. بين بحرين – Between Two Seasis the outcome of joint collaboration between the National Council for Women & #UNWEgypt, as part of their belief in the important role that cinema plays in changing negative perceptions towards women in different societies, and it was made possible through the generous support of Government of Japan and USAID/Egypt. The film is written by Mariam Naoum, directed by Anas Tolba and produced by Axeer.
This phase of public screenings is being implemented with the generous support of USAID/Egypt.
